    Why Choose Radiant Pools?

If you find yourself in the market for a new pool you will most likely be doing some online research. Not only pool installation companies like us but also the brands of the actual pools that the company will be installing.

You will find that there are quite a few options out there for pool manufacturers.

One of the top companies out there is Radiant Pools. They have a strong emphasis on well-built eco-friendly pools.

We put together this article to help you understand Radiant Pools better and why they are considered one of the best.

    Who are Radiant Pools?

Radiant Pools manufactures state of the art aluminum eco-friendly pools and vinyl liners. The company operates out of a 100,000 square foot facility in Albany, NY.

The company started as Trojan Pools in1953. It operated under that name until the company was purchased around 2006. During this transition, the company was renamed to Radiant Pools. This new name was taken from the fact that the pools are built to retain heat.

In 2006, Radiant Pools became the only swimming pool manufacturer in the industry to become an Energy Star Buildings Partner, dedicated to promoting the energy efficiency of our business.

When they bought the company, they made some product modifications to address contemporary pool construction and the new owners renovated and modernized their 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Albany, NY.

Do you or someone that you know own a Trojan pool? That's not surprising. They were built to last for years and years!

Radiant still makes and sells some replacement parts and liners for Trojan pools. All you have to do is reach out to them and they will help you out. Here's a link to their contact page.

    Reasons Radiant Pools are Great

One of the big things that set Radiant Pools apart from other manufacturers is the unique quality of which they are built.

Radiant Pools’ insulated wall panels make it the only pool on the market that is truly energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

You can take pride as the owner of a Radiant Pool knowing that when you added a great pool to your backyard you didn't add to your carbon footprint.

Radiant Pool uses solar power as much as possible in their manufacturing. The pools themselves are made out of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation and aluminum which are both 100% recyclable.

Every Radiant Pool comes with a 100% Lifetime, Fully Transferable, Non-Prorated Warranty against manufacturing defects for as long as you own your pool. That means that even if you sell your home, that lifetime warranty will still stand for the new homeowner.

There Are Different Types of Radiant Pools Available

Radiant Pools offers three different styles of pool builds. The Metric, the Grecian, and Indoor Pools. So no matter what your yard situation is they have something that will fit your lifestyle.

    Above Ground Pools

Radiant Pools offer their above ground pools in a line referred to as their Metric Line.

The Metric is your classic above the ground aluminum pool. There are five different models that can be installed in a variety of shapes and sizes. They can be installed above ground, semi-inground on a slope, into a hill or fully inground.

Radiant's website explains the construction of their Metric pools as such:

"Marquis Tile/Mosaic Floor liner pattern also available in a 20 mil option upgrade through the Premium Plus Liner Program. This thicker liner option comes with an extended warranty.

Radiant Pools R-10 insulated walls resist heat loss more efficiently than any other type of pool wall. Heat gained from the sun is retained, maintaining water temperature even overnight, when other types of pools lose up to 10º F. The Radiant insulated wall panels keep the water warmer longer – extending the swimming season by up to 2 months!"

The shapes offered are Round, Oval, Rectangle, Emerald and Freeform. Each of these come in a variety of sizes.

    Semi In-ground Pools

The Grecian pool is what they describe as "halfway in and all decked out". It comes in one shape, an elongated octagon. But that one shape can be installed in varying sizes. You can add a full deck to this pool and create a seamless edge between the deck and the pool itself.

At least 50% of the pool wall (26") must be installed below the ground. The Radiant Semi-Inground Grecian Pools are available in 52” wall heights.

With Radiant's Grecian line you can get the look and feel of an inground pool for a fraction of the price.
